Why volunteering matters
There are things volunteers bring that are different: time, presence, friendship, and a connection to community that goes beyond a rostered shift. Volunteers enrich everyday life for the people we support.
A shared meal, a walk, a conversation, a game, a drive. These moments matter. They are part of what makes life full.
Volunteers play a meaningful role in the lives of the people we support. If you have time and care, we would love to hear from you.
What volunteers do
Volunteering with us is flexible and shaped around you. Whether you can offer an hour a week or a regular commitment, we will find a role that fits.
All volunteers complete a Police vetting check before starting. We provide full orientation and ongoing support from our team.
Ways to volunteer
Social and recreational activities. Accompanying people to community activities, playing games, sharing hobbies, or simply spending time together.
Outings and community connection. Supporting people to get out and about, including trips, visits, and attending events.
Creative and practical activities. Arts and crafts, gardening, cooking, or other activities aligned with a person’s interests.
Befriending and companionship. Regular visits to people who benefit from consistent social connection.
