I was born in Switzerland and have a strong passion for practical skills, adventure, music, and supporting people to improve their wellbeing through connection and identity. I trained as a polymechanic and spent more than 15 years working in manufacturing and engineering, alongside experience in adventure sport, forest schools, and supporting refugees. These varied experiences have shown me how important it is for people to feel seen, valued, and that they belong.
I support rangatahi through work-readiness programmes, adventure therapy, and holistic wraparound support. Young people may be referred through MSD or the Department of Corrections, and I work alongside them to build confidence, stability, practical skills, and a stronger sense of direction. I am also developing a social enterprise where rangatahi can gain meaningful work experience and positive connections.
My approach is to meet rangatahi where they are and focus on building meaningful, trusting relationships. I walk alongside rangatahi, helping them build the confidence and independence to take ownership of their own journey. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my children, making music, surfing and mountain biking. I am also a committee member of the Canterbury Swiss Club and find real satisfaction in creating things with my hands, whether that is growing food, building furniture, or baking sourdough.
