Kia ora, I’m Oakley. I’ve worked in the ECE sector for five years and am close to finishing my Bachelor of Teaching (ECE). I feel privileged to be part of the kaiako team here, supporting tamariki and whānau through trusting relationships and a welcoming environment. My practice draws on the Reggio Emilia approach – valuing relationships and our environment as a third teacher. Outside of work I enjoy time with my whānau, friends and my dog Tāne, exploring our beautiful whenua and listening to good tunes.
