Oakley has worked in the ECE sector for five years and is close to finishing a Bachelor of Teaching (ECE). They feel privileged to be part of the kaiako team here, supporting tamariki and whānau through trusting relationships and a welcoming environment. Their practice draws on the Reggio Emilia approach, valuing relationships and the environment as a third teacher. Outside of work, Oakley enjoys time with their whānau, friends and their dog Tāne, exploring the beautiful whenua and listening to good tunes.
