Maria is a social worker with over 25 years of experience working across youth development, autism spectrum, mental health, and disability services. She is deeply committed to person-centred practice and believes that every person, regardless of their diagnosis or circumstance, deserves to live a life of meaning and connection.
In her role, Maria works alongside people with neurological and physical impairments, including those with acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and complex disabilities. She supports individuals and their families to navigate challenges and access the services and connections that matter to them.
She works collaboratively and relationally. Maria takes time to understand what matters to each person and approaches every conversation with curiosity, warmth, and honesty.
