I’m originally from the Horowhenua and Wellington region, where much of my extended family still lives. I have been based in Christchurch for many years and feel deeply connected to the communities we serve here. I came to this work through a strong belief that rangatahi deserve better than a system that gives up on them.
As General Manager of Waipuna Youth Services I oversee all of our service areas, from young parents and health and wellbeing through to reintegration, early childhood, and community development. My role is to support our teams to do their best work and to make sure our services remain grounded in the values that brought us here.
I lead with curiosity and a genuine belief in people’s potential. I am most energised when I see our kaimahi growing and our rangatahi thriving.
