I have spent most of my career working in health and disability services. I have always been drawn to organisations where the mission is genuinely about the people being supported, not just the bottom line. St John of God Hauora Trust has been that place for me.
My role is about making sure our teams have what they need to deliver high-quality, person-centred care across our Halswell and Karori sites. That means supporting our clinical and operational staff, working with families and whanau, and making decisions that keep the people we support at the centre.
I try to lead with visibility and approachability. I believe the best outcomes happen when staff feel valued and supported, and when families feel genuinely heard.
