I grew up in the UK and had a previous career as a builder. I moved into physiotherapy after a life-changing injury which still influences how I relate to the people we support. I moved to Aotearoa in 2008 with my partner and have worked at the Granada Rehabilitation Centre for around 11 years.
Part of my role is managing our rehabilitation and activities teams, and the rest of the time I am delivering physiotherapy to residents and other clients. I prefer to keep things informal and often use humour to put people at ease.
