In my previous role as a Clinical Nurse Specialist I used to visit St John of God Hauora Trust regularly. I was always struck by the warmth of the environment and the quality of care provided to our most complex clients. That drew me to join the organisation.
Many of the people we support live with complex neurological conditions, disabilities, and rehabilitation needs. My role is to ensure our clinical team is supported, resourced, and operating to the highest standard, and that the people we support receive safe, person-centred care.
I am direct, supportive, and committed to continuous improvement. I believe great clinical leadership means being present, listening carefully, and never losing sight of the person at the centre of our care.
