I arrived in Christchurch in 2010, invited by my sister-in-law to start a new chapter in New Zealand. Her passing in the 2011 earthquake was a defining moment that shaped my resilience and my commitment to caring for others.
As Nurse Manager, I work alongside our nurses and support workers to care for residents at our Halswell home, supporting people with a wide range of health and support needs. I help oversee the home, working with residents and staff to keep it safe, caring, and positive.
I am approachable and enjoy being part of a team, and I value honesty, so I will always be direct when it matters. I stay calm under pressure and try to bring a positive outlook to my work each day.
