Amanda Donaldson is a registered counsellor trained in person-centred counselling, with postgraduate study in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Enhanced CBT (CBT-E). She is passionate about supporting individuals and whānau impacted by eating disorders and disordered eating, helping people develop safer, more compassionate relationships with food, body image and themselves, with a particular clinical interest in working with anorexia. Amanda has spent over ten years studying eating disorders and worked directly with clients for more than five years across a range of presentations and support needs, and is currently undertaking postgraduate psychology study as she works towards becoming a clinical psychologist.
