Food Services Assistant | Halswell, Canterbury
St John of God Halswell is a 60-room residential care facility in Canterbury, supporting people living with complex physical and neurological disability to live full and fulfilling lives. We are looking for a Food Services Assistant to join our kitchen team on a casual basis.
About the role
Working alongside our food and kitchen services team, you will help prepare and deliver meals that are an important part of daily life for the people in our care. This is a casual position offering flexible hours, with the opportunity to become a valued part of our Halswell site team.
About you
You are reliable, hardworking and take pride in doing a good job. Some experience in food services, hospitality or a kitchen environment is helpful, but we are most interested in people who genuinely care about doing work that makes a difference. A food safety certificate or willingness to complete one is an advantage.
