Iris Reuvecamp is Principal at Vida Law and a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. She is also admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. She holds qualifications from the University of Otago.
Iris has practised as a health and disability law specialist for over 20 years, working both as in-house counsel and as an external adviser across health, aged care, mental health, and disability sectors. Her practice has a strong human rights focus, with particular expertise in the law as it relates to adults with affected decision-making capacity.
She is an Affiliate of the Law Faculty and Senior Professional Practice Fellow at the University of Otago, where she teaches health and disability law. Iris was awarded a Borrin Foundation Women Leaders in Law Fellowship to produce a comprehensive text on public health law in New Zealand.
