Kia ora, I’m Emi. I am a proud mother of two tamariki and love spending time in the ocean, rivers, bush and mountains adventuring with my whanau. I also love music, yoga, art, travelling and gardening. Nature, for me, is healing, and I love that my work enables me to be in nature with young people as we explore both their inner and outer worlds. I have worked alongside young people for the last 20 years across outdoor guiding, teaching Outdoor Education, and facilitating adventure therapy programmes in different countries and cultures.
I support young women on their journey, using outdoor experiences, yoga, art, exercise, baking and volunteering to create spaces where they can be themselves, learn and grow. There is nothing better for me than seeing a young person’s eyes sparkle with excitement for life as they discover more about themselves, their strengths and their potential. I offer calm, encouraging, fun and practical support alongside.
